Prohibited Attire

Any clothing with derogatory slogans or statements against the court, officers of the court and the represented public is prohibited.

This includes slogans referring to the following but not limited to:

  1. Violence
  2. Drugs and any illegal activities
  3. Sexual in nature
  4. Slogans that are derogatory to any group of individuals or minorities
  5. Slogans that are derogatory to any religious belief

Casual summer attire including but not limited to:

  1. Flip-flops and other casual summer footwear
  2. Any clothing that exposes the midsection
  3. Shorts
  4. Tank-tops Baseball caps, dew-rags and other hats

Additional Regulations

Pants will fit the waist or hip and not hang off of the body exposing undergarments or midsection.

All cell phones, pagers, computers and any other audible equipment will be silenced upon entrance to the building.

Violations

If you arrive at court in violation of this policy, you will not be permitted into the courtroom and contempt of court charges may be filed.
